B&Bs in Spain

Over the years Only Spain has evolved a little but in essence the charm and ambiance of places to stay remain the same – we love to promote small, usually owner-run establishments that tick our boxes. For me it is that feeling, the ´I know not what,´ that hard-to-nail but deep down purring pleasure when you find a special place, you make your plans, look forward to your trip and then the moment of arrival exceeds your expectations. That.

That is what I hope you gain from these pages, beautiful establishments, each unique, often the home of the owners who delight in sharing with you not only their home but the surroundings they know so well. The best tapas bars, what to see and where to go – that unbeatable knowledge only gained when you reside somewhere for a while.

Bed and Breakfasts or Guest Houses ( including hotels which are owner run) are not everyone´s cup of tea, to be honest they did not used to be mine. Now older, hopefully a bit wiser and definitely more sociable (I think that happened when the kids were no longer dependent)  they are my favourite type of place to stay. Sometimes it is more in its name as the divide  between hotel and B&B, I believe, is narrowing.

For those lovers of intimate stays I have grouped together on a separate page Hotels in Spain and here…

Where each one is labelled it is the province it is in, not the town.

B&Bs and Guest Houses in Spain

Atelier 88 –  Jaen

Cortijo del Ramon – Jaen

El Palacio de San Benito – Sevilla

Finca Gorda – Malaga

Finca Las Encinas – Cordoba

La Casa Grande de Zujaira – Granada

La Posada de Quijada – Granada

Miller´s of Frigiliana – Malaga

Número 9 Guest House – Cadiz

San Juan Bautista – Jaen

Villa Andalucia B&B – Malaga

I´ve also put which province they are in –  the province not the city. As they have the same name it is easy to think you are booking in Cordoba – the city and find you are in one of the towns in Cordoba province a lot further away from The Mezquita than you thought!

As always if you would like  to leave a comment I can be found and contacted via the About page.

Un saludo desde Jaén, Andalucía!
