Set amongst pine trees Cortijo de Ramon is a gorgeous retreat in the heart of Spain’s largest Natural Park. Peace reigns. Red squirrels leap from tree to tree. It’s impossible not to relax here.
Filled with homely touches, quirky articles and ancient implements the house oozes history and warmth. Comfortable, charming and right up my street.
The numerous tall trees provide welcome shade in the summer and never let you forget the privilege of being in the midst of unspoilt nature. The silence is broken by the twiterring of birds and the clucking of hens providing your breakfast eggs.
Each of the eight bedrooms are beautifully and individually decorated with local products, finds and wares from olive wood bedside tables to a bottle of water and wine in your room.
