Laid back, peacefully planted Casa Valle de Oro, in the north of Malaga province, is a great location for a relaxing getaway or a base for exploring. With exotic tones, this eco-friendly B&B also offers two magnificent yurts and an apartment to sleep 2+2. Nestled in a shallow valley filled with olive trees with no other sign of human habitation around, it´s easy to take in the views, listen to the birds, inhale the clean air and eat very well.

There are two charming B&B rooms with decor inspired by the travels of the lovely hosts Tatienne and Joost, the oriental Jaipur Room and African Djenné. Ours, Jaipur has a fabulously comfy bed and huge bathroom.

Casa Valle de Oro has it´s own veggie garden, chickens and buys local, plan your visit well and you can dine with your hosts and other guests. Foodie, four course meals are served three times a week, and all are catered for, vegan and vegetarian delights abound.

Even the after dinner ´chupitos´ are home-made – for me, a Limoncello, made from the lemons off a tree I could almost reach. Breakfast too has an abundance of home-made delights.
There´s no way you won´t relax and enjoy ´Golden Valley House.´
