B&Bs
Over the years Only Spain has evolved a little but in essence the charm and ambiance of places to stay remain the same – we love to promote small, usually owner-run establishments that tick our boxes.
I hope you gain from these pages, beautiful establishments, each unique, often the home of the owners who delight in sharing with you not only their home but the surroundings they know so well. The best tapas bars, what to see and where to go – that unbeatable knowledge only gained when you reside somewhere for a while.
Bed and Breakfasts or Guest Houses ( including hotels which are owner run) are not everyone´s cup of tea, to be honest they did not used to be mine. Now older, hopefully a bit wiser and definitely more sociable (I think that happened when the kids were no longer dependent) they are my favourite type of place to stay. Sometimes it is more in its name as the divide between hotel and B&B, I believe, is narrowing.
