What a spring! We´ve had 25c one day and 8c the next. Sunshine and April showers and plenty of them. The Spanish refrain ¨En abril hay aguas mil¨ has been true this year! In April there are thousands of water – the literal translation and so there has been. But it is very much needed with the reservoirs in my home province of Jaén at under 30% of their capacity we obviously need many more April showers. So complain I must not!
Cold, rain and work have been the reasons for no gallivanting around. Plus war, lorry drivers strikes, fuel price increases, what a time we live in. But as April is coming to a close and May, with its cheery wild flowers approaches rapidly, some serious plotting and planning is necessary, and travels will resume, very soon I hope.
