Usually, as September approaches and summer begins to wane, I feel sad. Not this year! A seemingly continual heatwave of 39/40c almost every day. We had to have air con which I hate, to be able to think, let alone eat and work. So September is here. The mornings and evenings are suddenly cool and it´s dark by 9.15pm and my usual melancholy of summer ending is – this year – Joy!

I´ve worked at home more than ever this summer and a big writing project has me in overdrive as the deadline looms. The first weekend in October (after the dreaded deadline) and we´re off to inland Malaga and Malaga Hills B&B. I am so looking forward to travelling for pleasure and not rushing around for the writing gig.
