Head inland from the coast, airport and Málaga city and you´ll find stunning landscapes. Flowing fields, rugged rocky terrain and karst limestone landscapes of Torcal de Antequera. As a base to explore more of the natural interior or with good access to Córdoba and Granada here are some great hotels and B&Bs for both nature lovers and city explorers – or just to relax, read and unwind.

The lovely, eco-friendly Casa Valle de Oro snuggly situated in a shallow valley of olive trees near Villanueva de Algaidas and close to Lake Iznajar.

In the tiny hamlet of La Joya we find the spa Hotel Fuente del Sol with easy access to Torcal de Antequera and the great central city of Antequera.

Winding up from the coast on the east side of Málaga we head to Málaga Hills Boutique and Wellness B&B just outside the lovely, white hillside town of Cómpeta.
