Welcome 2024. We hope you all feel the same and look forward to a new year and 365 new days. January, I must admit, is not my favourite month. It´s the coldest here in the mountains of the Sierra Sur de Jaén, the skies are unadultered blue right and the sun shines although we do need rain. Lots of rain.

With an overnight trip down to Malaga planned and a very exciting, short visit to Bilbao (we are bound to see rain there) this month will zoom by, with several birthday celebrations too.

One of the newest Only Spain additions, the lovely Almohalla 51 in Archidona is also on Be Seeing You Almohalla 51 and if you haven´t seen it, my review of the beautiful Wine Hotel Hacienda Zorita in Salamanca is there too. I really should add it here.

As the holidays come to an end, it´s back to work tomorrow – here´s to 2024 – what will you bring!
