Hot, hot, hot and more heatwaves to come. This is summer. It comes and slaps you in the face. Altering routines, inducing siestas, it´s hard to concentrate and work. I have a love/hate relationship with it but still it beats winter´s long, dark nights.

So plans for the heat? Well I´ve just got back from a reccy trip so will have a new hotel up and running for you very soon. August sees a trip over the border into the autonomous region of Castilla-La Mancha to a wonderful private nature reserve/B&B, a visit to Priego de Córdoba and Hotel Patria Chica and a return to the lovely, little Finca las Encinas and a cooking session with Clive.
